Letters to the Club
The best eyewear stories don't come from press releases — they come from the people wearing the glasses. This page is yours: write in, and a selection of letters will be published here and in the magazine.
Write to us
Email your letter to hello@4eyesclub.com with "Letter to the Club" in the subject line. Tell us about the pair that changed how you see yourself, the fitting that went wrong (or finally went right), the frames you've kept for a decade, the buying experience that put you off glasses shopping for years — if it's about glasses, fit, or style, it belongs here.
The guidelines
- Sign with your first name and town — "Maria, Hartford" is perfect. That's all we publish; your email address never appears.
- Keep it about glasses, fit, or style. Stories, opinions, questions, and disagreements with something we published are all welcome.
- Keep it reasonably short — a few paragraphs is plenty. We may edit letters for length and clarity, and we'll never change what you meant.
- Sending a letter is your consent to publish it. If you'd rather we read it but not print it, say so in the email and we'll honor that.
- No medical questions, please. We can't advise on prescriptions or eye health — that's a conversation for your eye doctor.
The honest part
We read every letter. We can't publish — or personally answer — all of them, and we won't pretend otherwise. A selection of letters appears on this page and in the letters section of the monthly magazine, starting with Issue #2. If your letter sparks a story, we may reply to ask whether we can quote you by name in it; we never quote a reader without permission.
Corrections and error reports don't belong here — those go straight to the same inbox, or see our Standards & Corrections page. Wrong is wrong, and we fix it in the open.
