Why we started this.

Nobody was covering eyewear honestly. Fashion magazines treat glasses as an accessory photo. Tech sites treat smart glasses as gadgets. Opticians know the real fitting science and mostly keep it behind the counter. And the biggest stories — why glasses cost what they cost, how lenses actually work, what fits your face — fell into the gap between all of them.

So we built this. 4 Eyes Club is independent eyewear media: no brand pays for placement here, no advertiser edits our words, and when we don't know something, we say so.

This debut issue goes wide on purpose. Inside: Frame Finder — real fit science, measurement decoding, comfort fixes, and a one-page cheat sheet you can tear out and take shopping. Trend Radar — where 2026 eyewear is actually headed. Lens Lab — myopia-control lenses decoded for parents, with the numbers checked. Smart Buys — the $40 vs. $400 truth, minus the fog. The Craft — inside the Japanese workshops where frames become heirlooms. And a smart-glasses report from the year the category went mainstream.

Every section holds the same line: independent, evidence-first, reader-first.
