October 20, 2026 — "Quick one: how do YOUR glasses fit? (2 minutes, $50 draw)"
Hi — James Stone here, founder of 4 Eyes Club.
No published survey we could find has ever measured how often new glasses fail to fit the person who bought them. Retailers guess. Blogs repeat each other. So we are measuring it ourselves — the Glasses Habits Survey 2026 asks wearers directly, and we will publish what we learn.
The Glasses Habits Survey takes about 2 minutes: what you paid, how you chose, and whether your last pair ever fit right.
Everyone who completes it and leaves an email on the final question is entered into a draw for a $50 frame credit at Go Optical LLC (Manchester, CT). The survey closes November 3; the draw is November 30, 2026, and the winner is notified by email.
And everyone who takes part gets 10% off online purchases at GoOptical.online — the code is on the survey's completion screen.
Answers are anonymous — we publish counts and percentages only. The results become our first original-data story in the magazine.
Thanks for being part of the club's first dataset.

Archivist’s note (Oct 20, 2026): as sent, this letter opened with the unscoped claim “Nobody has ever actually measured how often glasses don’t fit.” The archived text above carries the corrected, scoped version. See Standards & Corrections.
Draw details: official rules. Results publish after the survey closes on November 3.
More letters land here as they send — the weekly letter starts with Issue #1 coverage and the run-up to the Manchester store opening on October 26.
